Northern Meet -- Sherburn Aerodrome 28.05.07

Had a really good day, i was getting abit worried as we were traveling there as the weather was terrible

but it soon brightened up enough to take some pics

How many visitors were there? It looks pretty empty thanks to the rain.

 

I recognise your girlfriends dads Packard and the rusty Dodge from Thornes park.

to be fair it was tipping it down on the way there and i was expecting to be parking up in an empty field, so the turnout wasn't too bad. I took a pic of every car bar one or two. Its quality not quantity

thats all i got on my phone. i got LOADS on my normal camera but will have to wait to develop them

 

the 4 door mexico was a hybrid. it was a one owner from new and the guy says he used to work at ford when they were testing the mexico and that car was the tester for the 4 door mexico! but it was originally an 1100 and the chassis plater stil says that! he says they were going to scrap it so he bought the car off them and has been using it ever since!

Are you going to the CF show? That's the next one. Convoy down on the saturday, camping, beer and stuff. Then there's some old cars to look at the next day.
