cut the hole in the carpet for the gear lever, fitted gear lever, fitted the clutch cable, choke cable, fan, filled it up with coolant and started it up to find that the radiator leaks. could be worse!
not being rude so please dont take offence but..if your the chap (and i think you are?) that had the car into a garage to swap the wheels to rs 4 spokes then i dont think you should touch it, its not your bag baby! lol...... safety first
i have undersealed the whole underside of my car, now im wondering if i should have left a strip above where the exhaust runs down in case of it getting too hot and maybe catching fire. or am i being too paranoid? will it be ok or should i get it all off above the exhaust? has anyone ever heard of underseal getting to hot like this? i know this stuff goes up like a bomb when set alight!
as above i have a spare set of mk2 escort 4 spokes and a chap wants to buy them for his mk1 fiesta but isnt sure if they will catch the caliper?? i would of thought they will be fine but he says he bought some before off a capri and they didnt fit??? something to do with the offset.
cant see that, primer has to be wet flatted with water prior to top coat anyway, more like water droplets in the top coat from the compresser as it was sprayed
