    Just sussed out the steering problem on my Mk1 cortina. Its a bent TCA. Can anyone help out? I need a GT cast TCA please,I'm happy to buy a pair if need be. Thanks for your help. Stuart

    Hi Col, Theres a Mk2 stalk on ebay. But, under Mk1 cortina. Both mount the same and, as far as I know on the Mk2 it has a single multi wire plug and Mk1 is individual bullet conectors. Maybe worth a look. Stuart

    Hi, Just bought a Mk2 which has the wrong offset Ford sport wheels on it which have rubbed on the leg and track rod.So, desperately need a set of wheels! Looking for something period minilte ,banded steels ? Please let me know what you have. Thanks, Zach

    Hi, I'm converting the Cortina to type 9 5 speed and need a propshaft yoke(Non doughnut,solid prop type) to convert my prop to type 9 fitment gearbox end. Many Thanks, Stuart

    Hi Colin, Its a really clean one previous owner car running zetec and bike carbs. I think he intends keeping this and a RWD. But, yes would be nice to do. But, a lot of work. He'd probably get it done quicker than my conversion on the Cortina.. Regards, Stuart

    HI after four years in his Mk1 Fiesta my son has got the bug for a RWD. He's not got a massive budget and will consider a project . Cortina mk1 ,2,3,4,or 5 , 2 door(optomistic) or 4 door. Escort mk2 4 door? Anglia? Please let me know what you have. Thanks, Stuart

    Hi, Just looked at hydraulic kits. £150-180. Bumps my budget up and still have the problem of the starter on the wrong side. Will probably go LHD bellhousing and cable. Its not going to be mega spec engine so can live with the cable. Thanks for your ideas guys .Keep em coming.

    Hi, the box is a 2.8 V6 box out of a Caterham with a spacer plate . How would `I go hydraulic clutch? The only option I have seen is a new bellhousing....mega bucks and you have to modify your release arm. I'll habve a look at p100 diesel bellhousings.

    Yes, got a normal type 9 bellhousing which is nearside.eviidently LHD models are off side. I dont think the rs2000 has a mount for cable clutch???

    Hi, As title.I'm after a left hand drive type 9 bellhousing which has the starter motor on the opposite side. This I'm hoping will get round the problem of the starter motor fowling the steering joints on my Mk1 Cortina. If anyone knows any other solutions I'd be most grateful. Thanks, Stuart

    As above ,looking for a good strong low mileage Zetec engine for RWD conversion. Blacktop or Silvertop ,1.8. or 2.0,ST170. Also, any other conversion parts you may have. I can collect from most areas. Thanks, Stuart
