Yes, £500 on pistons, £1200 on head work before you start on the rest.

Looking at building up a hybrid using a crossflow bottom end with Cosworth pistons and pre crossflow head. Anyone built and used one? Be interested to hear whether all the work is viable. Still torn between a hybrid or zetec it. Be nice to keep near original looking with the hybrid. Please let me know what you think.

Hi, I've got a more or less complete 1300 711m 6015AA. Its been sitting some years covered in dust .But complete minus 1 x valve spring and collets. It has the dizzy, water pump, oil pump, flywheel ,exhaust manifold and weber inlet manifold and weber 32/36 by memory. Let me know if you are interested. Can't help with the front bowl sump and pick up I'm afraid...they are like rocking horse S***t! I'm in Essex as well.

My Son has the Nodiz on his Mk1 Fiesta. Lierally clip on the crank sensor plug and coil plack plug and connect a power feed!! Make sure you get the 2nd Gen Nodiz as the earlier on was wireless and had no cable plug for the tuner to use. A lot of the rolling road tuners didn't like this

whats the 711 engine like? Runner? Bore size?
