  1. In assuming this has never been recovered.. quite distinctive
  2. They are that...ive actually had to put a cover over and steering lock on my mk6 escort due to a few guys turning up with flat beds and asking if it is for sale. Had my brother in law staying one week and im at work and get a phone call from him saying there's a guy at the door asking if the car is for sale... most probably ok guys but still a bit concerning when they are turning up in high viz with flat beds at the ready.
  3. Just looked this up on YouTube.. it seems the site has already been named... has it been recovered
  4. At least we know who's got it.. can't be many travellers sites with those Christmas red white and blue decorations . Police probably won't be interested
  5. Excellent
  6. Thank god for that... seems quite rare these days that they are recovered never mind intact
  7. It's about £37....I know its cheap still but it's only for small low torque jobs like the sump and fuel pump ect and then I'll probably use it on my mountain bike.
  8. I was wondering if anyone has bought or used this sealey torque wrench. I actually bought a toolzone one from Ebay as it was cheap but it turned out to be a pile of crap. It would also seem that halfords magnusson and draper all have the same wrench that they have branded as thier own. Looking at the reviews of them all suggest the same issues that I had. In that it slips and doesn't always click when it should...ill show 2 photos below of the sealey one I'm thinking of buying and the toolzone one I have and I'm returning.
  9. Thank god for some good news
  10. There's a scrap yard in Edinburgh well more of a recycling yard. Anyway I passed last year only to see a (and I'm not exaggerating) a fairly mint looking morris minor and a fairly rusty vw beetle...I phoned and asked if they were for sale only to be told no. Anyway passed by today and what do I see but another classic.. this time what looks like a very good condition triumph herald convertible. No point phoning as I don't know if they are allowed to sell cars that have been weighed in for scrap .. they could have maybe taken them in and held back on the paper work in order to either keep them for themselves or sell onto someone they know.. ive really no idea but it just pains me that there's stupid bastards out there that are still weighing in rare classics... if anyone is in the edinburgh area it's the one on salamander street near the docks. Utterly sickening.
  11. Surely the police are chasing it up if they have the reg
  12. I take it there's no cctv of the reg . someone has clearly been staking it out. No doubt lying on a site nearby
  13. Post a link to the kit please
