had no intention of doing anything, but ended up spending 2 days on car, refitted exhaust wired alternator and fan and fuel pump, then made a dashboard, now working on a mates swapping his auto to manual........so much for two weeks off

volenteered to help a buddy convert his mk1 escort auto to manual over next couple of weeks, so decided to swap move cortina to other side of drive, didnt feel like pushing so started it up, now i know it runs, all be it in desperate need of a set up, but clutch and transmission hasnt been tested yet, bit of petrol, booster pack on battery, cough cough splutter vroom. Clutch down, select first expecting a crunch or something , select smooth phew cluth up expecting no drive, smooth take up moved off great, now brakes, pushed firm pedal and stopped, ok now reverse same storey....looking good, slowly back.......crunch, oops need to re think exhaust way too low never get back on the drive lol, remove back box back on sweet as a nut...........I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER!!!!!!, now if only the rain would stop or some one would buy my house so i can get into that garage and im flying

mate, long storey short, when i advised a chap that his car needed to go to a garage and as he drove to me he could drive it there he come at me with his wheel brace, i drove off in my van and he followed me (in his broken car), i pulled into a police station he dissapeared, turnt out it was just a dog station so went to another one to report it, whilst waiting to gget to the desk he walked in and had another pop at me in the station, police seperated us, they took my statement and then cautioned me saying he had alledged i had made racial remarkss to him ( i never im there for the cars) he walked free, i saidd to them even if i did im threatened with a hurt head he has hurt feelings, which would u take more serious!!!!!!!!
