I don't think I've ever seen such a bad idea. Loads of work. Fit what is probably Fords worst engine of the time. End up with a hideous creation! Think I might buy it just to make sure it never goes back on the road!

Maybe........ if you can find any! The offset is weird which is why I've had to us the narrower Escort stuff rather than Capri

I've been modifying the chassis rails the on my Cortina to take a Mk 1 Escort crossmember so I can have rack and pinion. It's been giving me the arse getting bits of spatter down my neck and in my ear.... but i'm well chuffed as it looks like I can get enough camber using standard parts from rally design and I reckon my 4 spoke american racing mags look the nuts!!! Not too exciting for anyone else I know. But I'm chuffed!!

I usually pop up the Ace on New Years day in the Tina for brekky/lunch. Anyone else fancy it?

I went to see Red Hot Chillis nat Hyde Park a couple of years ago. The Godfather of Soul was a support act. He stole the show!!! Best live music I have ever seen. What a shame

Just finished putting the girlfriends E back together after it's repaint and it sailed through its MOT today. Well pleased with it and she has no idea it's done.I've been telling the odd white lie about why it's taking so long. Gonna wrap it up for christmas!!!

My mate has a panel beater/spray shop in Studley. He is the nuts and done a lovely job on my Cortina earlier in the year. Reasonably cheap and decent quality PM me if you want any details.

Popped up to mickeys diner on A229 to see if it was the right place today-which it is. Also, thought I'd better have a fried brekky while I was there. Very tasty too so I hope there will be a good turnout
