An F1 was stolen from a drive in Dartford at around 11 A.M on Saturday. I hope whoever has it dies a horrible death: . STOLEN VEHICLE!! 1949 f1 Ford Stepside Pickup Truck, LHD All original Steel body. Patina - waxoyled condition ( as per photos) 350 4 Bolt Chevy with 5 Speed manual Gearbox Tailgate pinstriping plus also on the cab below rear window. 'It ain't real if it ain't steel' on rear of cab above rear window. Has cracked rear and passenger (offside) windows. Ford badge missing from bonnet (nearside) Has box heater fitted in passenger side well. Steel wheels with chrome caps. Rear wheel (nearside) has about 5” of weld running around inside of rim. The vehicle was stolen from a front drive in Dartford Kent on Saturday 13th December at 11.00am and the owner is distraught as you can imagine and cannot believe that some low life would steal his pride and joy. Nic used my car for work yesterday and managed to spin it in fourth gear on a dual carriageway!! Left the road sideways and went through a drainage ditch, narrowly missing a lamp post!! I'm amazed at its offroad capabilities (especailly at that speed). Looks like all my mods and welding held up! Only damage was a hole in the petrol tank, scuffs on just about everything underneath and a bit of damage on the sill. Lucky girl I reckon - this is her - thats me

I have been to both, but I found the modern Le Mans was a bit too much like a with Brits abroad football match. However....... the Le Mans classic is fantastic! 24Hrs of GT40s, Mustangs, Listers, Bentleys and everthing in between battling it out. Loads of classics drive over from England and there is plenty of drinking. I was working on a Sadler and a Lister JAguar and I was pissed for about 36hrs!!! Wait for the classic in 2010!!!!!
