Use a flat roller acting on the back of the belt to tension it. What spec is the belt? Is it just 4 vee belts or a proper poly v? Have you got a number for it

But children are exactly that .... children. They don't always think to look even when you teach them to because they do not have the capacity to think like adults. We are not even giving them the chance to think about road safety. As far as I know there are no campaigns aimed at kids. If that ad was of a kid looking at his phone texting and crossing the road or listening to his Ipod as he got hit, then I reckon it would hit home. Most kids are more frightened about paedos and getting stabbed than they are of getting run over or flying their kite into pylons. A sad state of affairs in my opinion

I think they are crap. Road safety campains used to be focused on keeping children out of the road, now they are pretty much saying that its ok to run people over as long as you do it slowly. "If you hit me at 30mph there is an 80% chance i'll live. If you hit me at 40mph there is an 80% chance I'll die" If, however, I look both ways and cross carefully then there is no chance I'll get run over at all. Bring back the green cross code man!!!

Unfortunately free passage is only available to drivers of vehicles that are exempted from Road Fund Tax on the grounds of their disability. Application for such an exemption is granted by the DVLA if the applicant receives the higher rate of Living Allowance.

Arse!! I didn't know that. And they make me pay the van rate when I take my truck through. I might just go up there now to exercise my newly discovered freedom!!

Was tugged this morning on the M2 to check if my car was stolen!! Well done Daggle, looks like your boys are now in the know. And they didn't go right over my car like I thought they would. He said that their intelligence was that the stolen cars were going banger racing. Not sure about that. That is the first time I have been stopped for a normal check in an old car since the 90's

Pics are up in the stolen cars room. It does look like mine and from the pics it looks kind of blue. I don't recall ever seeing it in the flesh. Thanks for taking the interest.

An F1 was stolen from a drive in Dartford at around 11 A.M on Saturday. I hope whoever has it dies a horrible death: . STOLEN VEHICLE!! 1949 f1 Ford Stepside Pickup Truck, LHD All original Steel body. Patina - waxoyled condition ( as per photos) 350 4 Bolt Chevy with 5 Speed manual Gearbox Tailgate pinstriping plus also on the cab below rear window. 'It ain't real if it ain't steel' on rear of cab above rear window. Has cracked rear and passenger (offside) windows. Ford badge missing from bonnet (nearside) Has box heater fitted in passenger side well. Steel wheels with chrome caps. Rear wheel (nearside) has about 5” of weld running around inside of rim. The vehicle was stolen from a front drive in Dartford Kent on Saturday 13th December at 11.00am and the owner is distraught as you can imagine and cannot believe that some low life would steal his pride and joy.
