  3. Nice one Colin, the club stand is much better than one make. Anyone got a pop up gazebo? @iandq - I'm meeting Baileymex in Croydon somewhere Sunday morning if you want to join us to see where to get in?
  4. Try Croydon Platers just off the Purley Way. Its an old guy been there for years, just had a few bits chromed and well happy with them. It did take a good few weeks but cheaper than other places I enquired.
  5. Cheers Col, I am well happy with what you've done, looking forward to getting it fitted this weekend. I took your advice and polished the manifold up and it looks the business, I'll get some pic up soon. I'd recommend you guys overtime
  6. Nice one Graham, thats looks lovely mate
  7. There are some cracking deals about at the moment, but more on new than used. I went past my local Vauxhall dealer to see a new Corsa for £189 deposit then 60 months of £189 and the Peugeot deal where everything is included in the monthly, you only put fuel in it! Also, if you take it on straight hp, you can settle it early and over pay without any penalties. The pcp's only really work with new cars, but are a good idea if your going to change every few years and keep paying the monthlys.
  8. Cheers mate, Can you give it straight to Glenn to finish my car please???

  15. Hi Steve Theres a place on Willow Lane Industrial Est, Eagle trading park I think its on. Had a few bit done there and very good, but cannot remember their name!!
  16. I am buying a few bits for my Anglia that are too big to post and awkard to package for couriering. So is there any one coming down this way, or does anyone know of a smaller courier service that might be able to help rather than a larger service that will not take as much care of the items. Many thanks for any help Steve
  17. Right, I am looking for someone who can help me with welding my Anglia. I do not have the knowledge or skill to do it and I am struggling getting a bodyshop that isnt that busy. It needs both front wings removed, 1 a posted welded then fibreglass wings fitted. The car is at my house on the Cheam/Sutton, pm me if anyone is interested. Cheers

  22. Fosters are top guys, I use them all the time for screens etc at work.
  23. Just got our free Sutton Post paper through the door and saw a story about a fire on the 7th Feb that gutted a workshop/garage and took a freshly built Mk1 Escort & a work in progress Anglia. Thankfully the house wasnt damaged or anyone hurt, but still an awful thing to happen. Checked back a few days and havent seen this posted anywhere else. Really feel for the owners after all their hard work!
