As title, looking for a Mk2 Escort petrol cap since someone nicked mine. Usually wouldn't care but a quick look on ebay for a replacement sees them going for £40+! Anyone got one laying around to sell at a price that's not extortionate? Really can't afford to pay stupid money for little things

Some nice photos around, cool to see I made it onto the official ones, wasn't expecting to considering how cheap and tatty mine is among all the fancy expensive stuff! Pod organisation was piss poor as usual but thanks to the OSF organisers/etc (met others but no OSF people!) for making the best out of it and also for letting me bring my Escort on the stand for a while! All in all it was a good show and worth coming down, I was going to have a run on the dyno for a laugh but ended up leaving early haha.

As title suggests, after some 13" 4x108 wheels. Preferably wide/low offset. Tires/no tires doesnt matter. Can swap for my wheels or cash monies

Yeah I only know of three others, one's a two door with green interior S41 LOR or something, then two more 4-doors. When I looked on ebay they were really expensive, like, £5 ish for 150ml whereas halfrauds is £6 for 300ml. It did a decent job on my lower valance, apparently they accept stuff back so would it be worth getting another one and trying it out since the first 1-2 cans matched well?

Hmm yeah that sounds about right. It's Laurel Green which is annoying because it only seems to be available in Halfrauds unless I get it mixed somewhere. Was just a bit odd how the first can matched nicely and the second was a few shades off

Oh and it's definitely the same colour as on the chassis plate, just doesn't look right when it's actually applied (few shades too light??)

Been repairing all the rust and rot on the outside of my Escort so it's time for paint. I experimented with a little bit and it came out nice, so I bought another can (can't afford all the fancy stuff) to do the rest but the colour match is p1ss poor at best. I don't need it to be concours finish and I know it wont be with a can, but I do want it to match, is there something really obvious I've missed out??...
