  1. Hi and huge thanks mk1del and HotRodMatt - I have taken your advice and am ordering new this morning. You are right - this will eliminate any possible problems and give good fuel economy. Webcon here we come... Problem solved. What a great forum, with great members. Cheers
  2. Hi Guys - I need a twin choke downdraught Weber carb for a 2l Pinto. The engineer doing this would normally source (he is a specialist) but his best friend (and a very good friend of mine) died last week, and I am trying to save him time. All suggestions welcome. I am in the Horsham (West Sussex) area, and believe there is a good breakers yard specialising in Escorts, Cortinas, etc. - any thoughts, please??? Or any others???? Thanks in anticipation
  3. Hi guys and gals - Price reduction as I need the space - £100 for 1.6 pinto engine, with a 165 block - code 85HM6015JA. It was in a modernised Ford T pickup when I bought it (2 months ago), and started/ ran first time. Only selling because I am hotrodding the car with something much larger, so it's a good buy for someone. It has a single Weber carb. Cash only, sold as seen. Sussex. Email jb9336661@gmail.com or PM me. Cheers.

  10. Don't polishes include abrasives? Surely no good for glass.
  11. Morning all! A newbie from West Sussex, looking to get into classic Fords... I have a 1927 T pickup already (too early a model for these forums?) - its in the process of being rodded - and I aim to supplement with a Cortina or similar . Getting used to working with rust again....
