They do turn up and seem to go for between £100-£150. 

Ive just done a rhd conversion myself and plumped for buying a 2nd hand loom.

Luckily i have a mate that's good with lecky who made a few adjustments for me.

I wasn't confident enough in my soldering skills to lengthen the wires.

As i say, they do turn up but you pays your money and takes your chances.

Try Fords silicon sealer from your local dealers. Absolutely brilliant stuff. I work on  a fair amount of  later chain driven transit engines and theres nothing better out there and its not expensive.

Comes in a syringe.

Was thinking of swapping the internals over myself but time is against me.

Got a gearbox out of my 74 1300GT up for grattis.

Its from a LHD car so the starter apeture is on the opposite side (offside).

Ive done 500+ miles with it and its fine. No notchyness or wines. Needs a top plate gasget and fitting, thats it.

Work is weighing in a load of metal this week and if nobody wants it, its going to china.

No rush to collect it but if you want it, let me know and I'll keep hold of it.
