  1. There are pin removal tools on eBay that may do the job, looks like it pulls them out rather than drifting it with a punch https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311596359195?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=mNxrbkO5Sx6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=MAHfsQCtQBe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS
  2. Do they not have bolts in the A pillar? I don’t remember having to do that in the distant past on mk2 escort.
  3. I don’t have a chart, however there are many online calculators that will work this out for you, try this one http://www.wallaceracing.com/calc-gear-tire-rpm-mph.php
  4. Ok so I have a question related to 2000e gearbox that you parts knowledge people may be able to answer for me. Some time ago when I was removing my 2000e gearbox with internal remote shift, the Speedo drive cable had rusted itself to the Speedo drive mechanism, when I pulled on it the entire speedo drive mechanism came out with the cable, as this happened I heard something fall off inside the gearbox and roll down the inside of the casing. I have studied many parts diagrams but I can’t work out what part I heard falling off inside😳 the car has been undergoing major restoration since then but the time is nearing when I will need to fix this potential problem before I fit the gearbox, it would be really helpful if I know what I am looking for before I take the tail shaft off my gearbox. any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated. cheers
