This time of year again already I had a mad afternoon getting escRot taxed, convincing it to start and giving it its first drive in a couple of months, before heading down to the park via the pez station and the local IMO. Very little by the way of organisation on my part (story of my life) but I still managed to bump into some familiar faces Great selection of cars as always, this show really is going from strenght to strenght every year.... Someone once spat on escRot while I was sat in traffic. The dirty mouthbreather knuckledragger had just been drinking larger and black or something as it was purple. He was with some skank and they made off quick-sharp when I got out cracking bar in hand (I keep it down the side of my seat ) But yeah, dirty bastards

bump, just to keep this to the top

escRot is in need of the work Ive been putting off for maybe 3years. Sills, inner and outer, both sides. Both front floorpans. N/S strut-top. I need to rebuild the carb, and to stop the oil leak from around the distributor. Then I need to find a N/S/R door and a straighter bonnet than whats on. Then I could give it a blowover and it'd be half decent for another few years. Then I need to swap the 'box for my spare as it sounds like its trying to eat itself under load in 2nd and 3rd. And I need to rebuild the rear brakes. Flippin' 'eck, thats quite a list.

Im pretty much there at the moment. I don't even know where to start, stupid chuffin' thing

Hey gents, not to worry about last time, life went totally askew for me so I wasn't there either. However, this Sunday will be different. I finish work at 1pm, so it'll be 1.30ish before Im there but I'll not be leaving tuntil everyone else has Camera batteries charged and everything.

Its a great little track at Mallory, lots of potential for driving while looking through the side windows. Its interesting to hear how much difference the splitter has...

Sorry for not being able to make Scotch Corner. To be honest, escRot wouldn't start by which time I was running late and I can't imagine I'd have been flavour of the month turning up in my BMW. Anyone up for this weekend, even if the weather is pap, I'll be there

I know, Ive not been to a bad one. It'd be great to see everyone too. I was looking through some of my Scotch Corner pics from the last 3 years, and I've seen some great stuff. I'll see how I feel and if it starts tomorrow. Im not sure as even if I want to come, Im working until 7am meaning getting to Leeds for 11am I'll be some sort of bumbling mess -- a bit like usual really

Im not sure, its why I haven't said anything in the threads... Ive got loads on, I need to crack on with the e30, I can't really afford the juice and escRot is a f'cking shed, I'd be a bit embarrassed to turn up in it to be honest... Hopefully it'll be sorted for Redbeck, if not Im in the e30.

I know a couple of folks in Wakefield who can do a decent job. It is the same as most things though, you pays your monies (or not) you gets your quality (or not) Do you know the area pretty well? Theres a guy in Kirkhamgate thats done quite a bit of bodywork and welding on escRot. He's good, and sound chap, though I don't think he's got a rush in him
