I voted yes cos they look the dogs on a mk 1 essy, However i wouldnt have em on a mk 2, jus my opinion but never liked em on the mk 2.

I want to put mk 1 RS fourspokes on my essy, So they are 5.5j, what is the normal tyre to use with these rims and would i get away with using 186/60`s as some people say yes they would be okay and some say they would be too wide, appreciate any info or what other people have used.

Well Ken i think it was a great day apart from that one incident mate, if i had smacked my car into a fence i would have cried me eyes out, The driver in question didnt cos he was stoned and p1ssed, may not have even been his car, I think we tried our best to explain the situation to the lady er man er park official but she wasnt having any, Pity that cos it was a good venue and a lot of motors did turn up, well done for gettin it together and sortin somethin out, I think i can speak for everybody off the manchester club and we enjoyed the day thoroughly and enjoyed seeing lots of cars in one place up north Good luck sorting the next one out mate. This is just a quick fix but if the bumper is black, jus go your local motor factors and get some rubber bungs, bout 19 pence each, for sealin the holes up, you can get relatively flat ones and it will do the job for now, and from more than six foot away you would have to be lookin to see em, just a thought.

Yeh it p1sses me off too, i know were there is a mk 1 essy 2 door that has been sat there for over two years now without being touched, yet every time i call the answer is the same, no im doin it up, when i ask myself, to$$ers, same guy has a 2 door mk 2 outside, he will never do it up just let it rot away, makes my blood boil. Hopefully tho when it does rot and the quarter bumpers fall off i may get them cheap as he wont have anyfin to bolt them to.

I know once my car was finished i was paranoid about it goin missin, still am, im up at the window at every noise, and if i ever caught anyone goin at it with a screwdriver for any reason, i would personally drag them round the back and snap there grubby little mits off. Anyway i jus got meself a sparkrite alarm with immobiliser, but got the one with the voltage drop on, adjustable sensetivity, and a red led for the dash. Its got shock sensor on it, infa red on it, and switches for the doors, i also personally added switches for the tailgate and bonnet, so nothin can be touched. I have also got a manual kill switch hidden away and i fitted the lot meself into the loom so nothin can be seen as alarm wires. with the help of my old fella, cheers dad. I also got some tracker alarm stickers that are really good with proper dates on em and everythin off ebay for the side windows, lets face it, are the robbin barstools gonna take a chance if the stickers are in it, i know it sounds heartless but they will go to a different motor if they see it and leave yours alone. However i am still up at the window at every noise and i do the round the block thing if i think someone has been behind me too long, unless i lose em And lets face it if they really want it, this day an age they will have it wether it be wagon, trailer or dolly. even hiyab. What we really need is some serious punishment for these robbin little cnuts, or eventually we will catch one of em and end up killin them, problem is you will get 10 times the sentance any car robber has ever got.
