The mk1 in white is gettin a cosworth transplant soon, and it isnt an original twincam but does look the dogs dangly bits, deep dish steels aswell, this was my favourite motor on the day as i did sex wee when i seen it, glad you like the pics and hope to get down to the ace with jon some time soon with my camera, so i can get some good pics down there.

I did the same on mine antz, took it apart and put it back in reading 00001 when i finished my resto, it is fiddly and you can break em so go gentle.

Never mind bud, jus bight your bottomlip an get the spanners out, or do what i do when things go t1ts up and throw tools round the garage, doesnt do your car any good but gets rid of a bit of frustration.

Right well the black grill seems to be favourite, so i will get the black grill repainted and try them both with the quarters and sees what ya thinks then, exactly the same photo as the two i have put up are different bumpers aswell, cheers peeps.

Makes your blood boil, string the little barstools up mate, even if they do give you the coin. Its not just the money most of the time, its the hassle that goes with it, not to mention your capper is outside now, hope ya get it sorted soon.

My bike plate reads - my other toy has t1ts, like the my other ride is an osf tho.

If its a mk1 estate bumper it will have two holes instead of one as the rears are held by two bolts each end about 250mm apart, sounds like a mk2 if it has a number plate light hole.

Yes very good cause, had to deal with the mcmillan nurses on 4 different occasions since last june, they do a fine job so i would stick in generously.

I have finally got my mits on a set of 1/4 bumpers for my essy, been lookin for ages and turned a few sets down cos they werent that hot and still fetchin 60-70 quid, anyway found a set with brackets aswell as a full chrome grill, set of mk1 RS wheels 5.5j and a new indicator stalk, also goin to look at a rear bumper on saturday, int life great sometimes. wasnt sayin that two weeks ago

Between 4 and 4 an half grand easy, i say, If you have got reciepts for work done and parts aquired, just get your insurance to do an agreed valuation at whatever you think its worth, they will knock you back if they dont agree, then get an independant valuation at extra cost. I did it with my insurance and asked for 6 grand, they asked me to supply some photos and paperwork and reciepts and they gave me 5750 quid so happy days.

In my opinion most of em are to$$ers, i do know a couple of decent ones tho, however they are allowed to do spot checks now and give you no reason for stoppin ya, good if your motor has been nicked but a pain in the ar$e if there a jobsworth ignorant runt.

I love em aswell, and sex wee too if i see one All the osf`s are cool but the mk1 was either your brothers car, dads car, or a mates car so there was always one around. My first car was a mk2 but i still prefer the mk 1 essy or tina.
