The time has come to sell my escort. Just don't use it enough and getting a bit old for it I think. brief description 2 door shell fibreglass bubble arches, front are full wings from Old Ford Autos 5 linked round turrets semi tubbed 6 point bolt in cage [safety devices I think] with x-over diagonal and door bars chassis mounts for engine weld on strut brace atlas axle from Fostek with capri lsd 3.75 standard shafts disc braked GAZ coilovers on rear 200lb springs shortened tarmac struts with 300/70 short inserts 350lb springs alloy hubs compression struts adjustable tca's concentric top mounts adjustable bias pedal box [arrow engineering] cossie 4 pot brakes with 285mm discs 8x15 minilight type wheels 205 front and 215 rear kumho ecsta tyres etc. engine and gearbox standard internals 3 bar map sensor dark green injectors t34 with .48 housing 4wd manifold with 3" system to single box on rear chipped and set up by joe GSM runs great, no lag and 30+mpg if driven sensibly!! gearbox rebuilt around 2 years ago paddle clutch running around 350bhp interior sparse!!! cobra sidewinder reclining bucket seats and 3 point harnesses elliot rev counter spa digital speedo racetech boost and oil gauge rmd water temp gauge car is currently out of mot but will do this before any sale It needs prep and paint and there is a bit of welding to do, nothing major. front floor by foot of cage on drivers side and drivers side A pillar is starting to need attention. There are probably some other bits, not checked it all yet. I was planning to remedy all these bits this year, but I'm too busy with work, and I need to finish my extension [started around ten years ago] hence the sale. The car was built with track in mind and is mostly rose jointed, so is a tad harsh and loud. It started out standard arched, but unfortunately I had an incident with some tyres at Lydden, and damaged rear quarter and drivers door. I had a new panel fitted last year, and bubbled it for wider tyres. And as for cashing in, do you think it costs nothing for all the work that is needed to keep people looking, private detectives etc. Yes they have to accept some blame for the situation, I'm sure everyday they realise that they shouldn't have left their kids alone, but we've all done it I'm sure. I can only assume that those of you who have no humility, also have no kids. I know if a child of mine went missing, searching for them would never stop. All this couple want is their daughter safely back home, and all credit to them for using every available outlet to help in their search.

We think xr2, but my son bought it as he was told it was taken off a mk1 1300s, so surely same floor pan as his? You half expect to get shafted on ebay, but not on a forum of like minded people. It cost him £40, not much to most of us, almost half his weeks wage though as an apprentice

The words from the ad. Complete PECO big bore exhaust for a mk1 Fiesta. It's been fitted to a 1300 sport, I don't know how much use it's had but it looks pretty sound. Might be a standard down pipe but it does all fit together cos I took it off the car.
