  1. I've got 3.75 280/300 bhp 13.5 at santa pod, should easily get below that, and 135mph easily (on private roads of course)
  2. An English axle may well survive, but it you're going to buid a cossie powered escort, do it properly first time. It'll work out cheaper in the end
  3. Beats my trips to Margate, that's for sure
  4. That'll look good parked in your garden lol Get out there driving the one you've got , ya tart, and the colour is fab
  5. Go for it before you get too old. You only get one life, don't want to look back and think, what if?

  8. If there are two drivers who aren legally entitled to drive the vehicle, and no photo showing who is driving, and you cannot recall who was driving at the time of the offence , you can only be fined. Worked for Neil and Christine Hamilton (and myself ) Ask for photo evidence
  9. Perhaps they just lost their common sense! That, and the other bans mentioned, have got to be the most stupid convictions ever. Will kids now be prosecuted for no insurance, no mot etc..., when they are seen riding/driving similar "motor vehyicles"? Just bloody ridiculous
  10. gotta be turbo don't stop grinning when I'm out in mine
  11. Let it lie As horrendous as it was, it was committed by 2 TEN year olds 17 years ago.
  12. At the same time, the guy who bought it must be a bit of a dick to take the chance anyway
  13. That was just to show you how it could be construed, not as a judgement by myself. Although you sold it as untested, common decency would surely be to refund the guy less postage?
  14. I know who I'll be avoiding buying parts off!!!
  15. Rustoleum is a similar product to hammerite, but much easier to use, and it can be thinned with white spirit. Bigger choice of colours too Good decorating shops will have it

  20. I'll be coming along from Herne Bay along with a few others from Ramsgate Let us know when and where you want to meet up
  21. Nothing wrong with The Carpenters
  22. I was not referring to a zetec, i was referring to the BMW M52B28 and the S50B32. And those engines will fit relatively easy? I think not. I'm sure there are plenty of other engines producing similar power for similar money but, the question was Zetec or Cosworth
  23. if you re-read i said they cost similar to fit n set up but replacement zetecs are £200 if the original goes bang So your tuned zetec running 9.7 goes bang, and you replace it for £200 ? Same as if your cossie goes bang, replace it with a £200 transit lump ! If you think you can just buy a £200 zetec, bolt a few bits off your old 9.7sec engine and get it hitting 9.7 again, I think you'll need to think again
