(Double posted in the escorts forum too) OK, bit of a strange one but can anyone tell me if they know of someone or have themselves somehow replaced a pair of inner wings or complete strut tops from bulkhead right across to slam panel without removing their outer wings?... The fella who owned my car before has made a complete hash of repairing the engine bay and I never realised just how untidy it was until after I payed out top wedge for having the bodywork and paint done. Im in the process of an engine swap so now is the real time to have a go at restoring the mess. Only thing is, like I say the car has been painted and the front wings are on DEAD straight-all the gaps are bang on and I am not keen to go and f**k that up aswell. I myself cannot weld so if anyone has any suggestions or knows of anyone keen on osf's or more precisely escorts who is genuinely GOOD with a welder please let me know, any help will be most appreciated guys and gals - cheers Here is a pic I found on the almighty web, to give you some idea...

Im sure everyone overtook me while I waited for my brake caliper to cool down after jamming on on the motorway from pease to brighton, I was revving about 4/5 and going about 29mph I reckon-smoking! Thanks to everyone for stopping to help out Fook me I drove all the way back home from brighton without touching my brake pedal once!... We went flying down the hard shoulder when all of a sudden the traffic came to a sharp halt, dodgy. Cant believe I didn't blow the gearbox to bits with so many hardcore down changes! My handbrake deserves a medal of honour too Top Day

Can anyone help, Im trying to get insured for the one day on sunday for the old London to brighton but none of the companies I can find will do it on my car... I asked why and they just say they cant insure my group - wtf??? Has anybody done this before and had any luck and if so, with who I ask! Dont wana take out no long term thing coz Im rippin me engine out next week with any luck... Grrrr!
