you need an earth cable from engine to chassis m8 normally it's done by using one of the bolts that hold the starter motor on and then onto a good chassis point!

it's the original earth cable m8 no good if your putting the battery in the boot!!

if your anywhere near Tolworth go to Tolworth Welding Supplies, he does the earth lead for welders on a reel so you can have any length you want tell him you want it for your car and he'll give you the right cable
