no pics yet mate, its still in the process of getting finished, ive done all the welding to it, its just sanding down the filler ive put over them, just so its all smooth and uniform looking (yes my welding is top notch thank you very much!) it was a fair bit of work, i had to cut the rear trangle pieces off that conect to the rear arches, cut the join between the two tubes, open them up a bit and re-weld them to the main hoop after sortening them in length, if you get what i mean. for the main hoop i had to cut it in half and literally only take a mm's out of it, i then slugged it with some thick tubing on the inside to add strength, and welden it all back together. took me about a 5 days to do in about 1 hour sessions in the garage, this includes welding on the strengthening plates on the floor and wheel arches for the cage to sit on. although the cage really is just for show ive done my best to make it at least a functioning cage if for some reason i actually do flip the capri, plus it will add some chassis stiffening.
