  1. wasn't sure where to put this thread but i need some help please my brake servo/master cylinder is leaking from the front & i'm not sure what to do about it. it's already stripped some paint off from inside my engine bay so i needs fixing asap

  3. er why were you using a stanley knife to replace a bumper i was cutting the mesh out of the grille on my Seat Leon Cupra R
  4. either the bowl or the kitchen floor i cut through the artery & lost a lot of blood. had to stay in overnight cos i wasn't feeling too well with hardly any blood in me
  5. a few choice words came out of my mouth when i slipped with a stanley knife while replacing a bumper yes that is a bowl of blood i got nothing but grief from the next door neighbour, her-"quit it with the language, the grandkids are here". me-"I'VE CUT MY FOOKING THUMB OFF!!" all happened about 8 months ago & still can't feel much with that thumb
  6. as long as the weather isn't as shitty as it is now, i'll be there edit: not sure now, the wagon's playing up since my alternator belt snapped on the way back from scarborough . squeaking like a pig & i'm losing brake fluid from somewhere, can't suss out where though? brought the bloody paint off!

  13. i was never into estates, then i saw this for sale that's why i bought it p.s. where's the pics of g.s escorts estate, antz told me about it but i haven't seen it

  15. my first car was a viva, 1256 hc. it was dark green on the bottom & lime green on the top. the engine was held together with garden twine
  16. was a good day out mate, nice to meet a few new faces only spoilt by the weather on the way home & getting stuck in traffic on the A64 for an hour didn't even put a damper on my good mood when the drivebelt snapped top day out
  17. great day out Tony, cheers a few of my pics I decided to go home along the A64, BIG mistake. I moved about a mile in an hour , then as i was doing 2mph, this happened! luckily i had a spare drivebelt with me, 10 mins to change in the rain and back on the road cheers again everybody for a great day out p.s. was the orange mk1 escort we saw on the way out meant to be with us?

  20. chevet lane was one of my favourite roads to blast down in my Gti6. i daren't do it in the wagon, its too bloody low still get the arse out on the next corner though my brother lives near woolley & i live towards wakefield but i still come that way home for a blast

  23. lost count of how many people think my mk2 is a mk1 till they see the front ! somebody actually thought that i'd had the front of a mk2 put on the rear of a mk1 estate, i said "ford did that for me"

  25. damn, wish i'd turned up now, it would've been worth getting stuck in all the festival traffic capri central & Tony's mk1 was awesome as usual organise another one quick while the weather holds out
