I picked it up today with the help of me bruv and me mate ross, big thanks to both of them coz it was a hell of a drive, about 450 miles all in. The car was good apart from the coil losing power and it misfiring, easilly sorted with a bit of wire made live straight to the coil and that was good enough to see it back home, it needs a bit of fettling but im well chuffed with it, totally different to the scort which ill miss but onwards and sideways as they say

Practice makes perfect, one thing that got my head round it was the amount of opposite lock you get with a scort, loads, once the back goes you can steer it left a lot, if it starts to straighten up nail the throttle and if the back goes too much give it more opposite, and dont forget to be lively with it too, theres no slouching with sideways, you gotta be quick and if it goes to the point of no return jump on the brakes, keep at it Antz, iv got a mate with a supercharged omega who couldnt drift for toffee but now after loads of practice hes a master at it

Would it be possible to change the colour of my scort to shiny black, im just testing the water but im thinking about gloss black and keeping all the chrome trim and losing the vinyl roof, would be good to see if it can be done, cheers Deano
