I had a 3.54 diff in mine when i got it with x-flow and 4 speed and it was fine on the motorway but 1st to 4th gears were quite long and acceleration wasnt too quick so i changed to a 3.89 diff which sorted the acceleraration but motorway driving is quite revvy as im sure yours is now. If you put a 5 speed in with a 4.1 diff you will be lightening through the gears and still have 5th gear for cruising

Sweet mother of mary and the orphans iv never seen anything like that before, that really did go with a bang didnt it, gutted for ya mate, that car is soooooo nice as well, really hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later

Nah it wouldnt cause a misfire, would make it noisy though

Cheers mate, i like it too but i like 2 doors more and if im going to spend my time welding holes up then nows the time to take the step, hopefully someone else can take this one on and bring it back, i certainly wont be scrapping it

Its not too bad, floorpans, spare wheel well, strut tops etc normal stuff but iv been after a 2 door shell for a while now and the bits on the 4 door are good to transplant over, the shell will probably be for sale after but there wont be much left

Today i think will have been my last drive in my 4 door. The MOT runs out on wednesday along with the insurance and the tax goes at the end of the month, GUTTED. The shell is too far gone to repair so thats the end of that, ill be off the road untill a decent 2 door shell turns up. But fear not, i will be back!!

It was just a kwik fit, the bloke in there had an rs turbo and wanted to go ford fair but couldnt, he had two others helping him do my tyres and said just sort the lads a drink,

Bearings have gone, took it off today, you might have to see bernie for me

Had to be done. 20 quid balanced and fitted, result

Shame my alternator packed up when i got back though!!!
