Check the clutch pressure plate hasn't got a broken drive strap or the diaphram fingers havn't broken, its also possible that the springs in the clutch plate have broken all these things cause the clutch and pressure plate to run out of balance and cause vibration like you wouldn't believe,because it happened a launch the clutch assembly would be my first port of call.

The female torx bolts are head bolts, the male torx bolts are head bolts,they need binning cos they are stretch bolts ie single use,you could replace these with a ARP head stud kit,replace the con rod bolts with an ARP kit as well.It looks from the photos, that you have an early cambelt set up ,so the bottom end may have forged pistons,but the head is a late dispack casting,as this engine seems to me to be a bit of a mix and match,I would make sure you can identify all the components and make sure they are compatable before you put it together,for example,with the cams measure the lift to make sure you havn't got a set of LET cams.The bolts for the main bearings,big end bearings ,head,crankshaft and flywheel are stretch bolts and should be renewed on assembly.The XE on 45's should make around 190 BHP if well set up.

HT used to supply a plug adaptor for 10mm plugs,Ive got them fitted to my engine ,but the plugs are recessed into the adapter to get the plug into the combustion chamber.The OE plugs are 18mm and if fitting 14mm plugs in a screw in adapter, this would only leave a wall thickness of 2mm,this would be prone to breaking,if somebody does an adapter for 14mm plugs I would guess that they are pressed in or welded in.If I remember correctly 10mm plugs were used by HT [when it was HT]because of the greater available heat ranges in the 10mm size.If you return the fiver I gave you,I will deliver to your door ,one evening next week,4AP6FS,25 miles use and one brand new set of NGKR pinto standard plugs.
