As we all know the Mustang is the king of muscle cars. I like to think of my car as being a british equivalent of the mustang.

I'm trying to decide if i could pull off a similar paint job on my mk3 when i get it x packed.

Is it possible? Would it have to stick out the bonnet? Where would i get a supercharger that would do the job? oh and what's the differnce between a blown supercharger and a regular one? Sorry i know very little about superchargers.

£770 for my 98 Escort 1.8 Ghia estate. (It went up £200 when i moved house) £160 for my Capri 2.8 injection. The Capri is in the garage tho and i only got 3000 miles to play with.

and how many ladies clean the crap out of the inside of the arches? Don't get me started on drive through automatic car washes. To be fair my mate Little Tom has done this one. He is a bit of a girl sometimes.

I almost bought a mk3 xpack just before christmas. It had compomotive cx 3s on it. 8x15s. Nothing else will look as good! They are the poodles plumbs!

As I can't find a wiring diagram for my '86 2.8i Capri, can anyone please tell me what the small (about 1 inch x 1 inch x 1/4 inch thick), black item is that's screwed to the top front offside of the engine bay and connected to the battery negative terminal and also into the wiring loom. It's got 'Ford' moulded into its upper surface. A previous owner has cut into the lead to add what looks like wiring for an alarm system but that's long gone. I've got to tidy the wiring up but it would be best if I knew what that bit does.

My Dad made every bit of this model of his Morgan +8 from scratch! even the tyres.

If i had £20 goin spare i'd have it now and send you all a free copy. I love Zakspeed Capris that much! Oh and if any one does a cheap copy i'll scrape some change together for sure!

Most of my mates are into their old VWs and i think there's a great deal to be learned from what's gone on in that scene. I've seen my mates buying cars for way more than they're worth because the VW thing was so popular with a load of people who were just in it for the image. That's all died off a bit now and my mates can't get the money back on their cars after buying the car and all the kit while the prices were high. On the other hand, people getting into it now can pick up cars that have had £££££s thrown at them for good money. Oh and it was the beetles and campers that went mad like the mk1 and 2 escorts. Lot of other old VWs didn't go up and down that much. From my point of view right now, having shelled out a fair but tidy sum on a capri this month. Oh and with lots of parts still to get. I'm hoping things aren't gonna go to crazy! I've wanted this car since i was 8 years old and i'm never gonna let it go anywhere so it doesn't matter what it's worth in the future. Bring on someone making new shells. The more OSFs on the road the better. Showin the VW boys how to go sideways! That's my waffle

I was gonna go with some TSW evo Rs but now i want the car to look a bit more gnarly. I love the look of slot mags but i want to stick with 15s any one got any ideas?

Thought i'd better show you all my ride. It's not a 280 and it's not gonna look like one for long either. I was lookin for a special and this came up in great condition for the right money. I've ditched the stripes already and once it's sitting a bit closer to the ground the wheels are gonna change. From then on the modifications shall continue indefinately. These shot's were taken the day after i picked it up.
