  1. Thanks to all the osf cars that turned up! Hope you had a great day
  2. Also... The RS1600 in standard form is identical in spec to the Mexico apart from engine and gearbox.
  3. Big mud flaps that dragged on the ground
  4. The early and late type steels are the same size/offset so you've got a wide tyre choice, suppose it depends on what profile you fancy? 70's for originality, 40's for the Sarf London look.
  5. There are two types of mk1 mex steels, the early type (lotus steels with slots) and the later type like your's Johnnyh. The later type were also fitted to the mk1 RS2000 and then on the mk2's. HTH

Now now Gareth it's not that bad. You know tim and me!
  7. So are the CF boys coming on the Germany Tour???? not heard anything from them, and I know there were a few issues last year in Ireland. Haven't looked at CF for a while but I don't remember seeing any adverts for the tour!
  8. Yep, I'm going, went to Ireland too! The hotel this year isn't too far from the nurburg so am thinking of popping up there on the sunday.
  9. mmmmmmmmm "Complete with foot pedal & dust cover"
  10. Yep I heard that too!
  11. There are 2 slots for the magnet, move the magnet forward and you'll get less traction on the rear end in the corners!
  12. It's a wind-up!
  13. Love the orange RS2K, is it Trofeu?
  14. And the finished article... Sorry pics are a bit crappy. I made the roof rack from welding wire and used a few old scalextric decals.
  15. Get the centers painted a dark colour keeping the rims silver. They were originally painted a gun metal silver on late MK1 RS's but black would look cool! I had them on my old mex...
  16. When I stopped over in Brighton last year I parked my car over at the marina. Top venue, I reckon it's only ten minutes walk from the main pier. It has safer parking and plenty of entertainment on had. A thumbs up from me, well done JohnyH team for sorting it out.
  17. Get well soon!
  18. You're quite right Jimbob, the grey stuff isn't adhesive and has more give in it so it's easier wrap. AVO club or ebay would be you're best bets.
  19. Put me down please, OSF + Beach =
  20. Another to add to the growing Oxford OSF Scene
