just brush them mate and claim they are rat look models be carefull with the thinners if the cars are plastic they go very soft very fast

halford do an airbrush kit mate, i use normal aerosols and primer and get a good finish, if you use brushes you can always rub the paint down very lightly with 1200 wet and dry and lose the brushmarks, for fine details like the window rubbers and black trim i cheat and use a perminant marker, works a treat if you get a fine one

you'd have to go the whole hog and get a matching suit and hat to match [/img]

seal it with mastic and fit a vynle roof if you can by the skins it must be do-able, im sure some of the rally cars over the years must have had roof skins rather than a reshell a mate of mine did a manta roof years ago, once he grinded it back and found all the factory spot welds it was pretty straight forward, just make sure you weld in some braces across the body before you start cutting
