Jo, I know where you're coming from. I have been in my job just over 2 years ago. I'd been there a year when my immediate boss left. I stepped into her shows and did the job for a couple of months and then applied for it. I never had an interview and when I asked what was happening I was told that I was "being considered" and loads of other bull. I went away for a weeks holiday (Cortina Day 2007), came back and found I had a new manager!! Needless to say I wasn't happy. Anyway the new manager was useless and was sacked on December 10th. I applied for the job straight away and stepped into the managers shoes again... Here we are 2 months down the line and guess what... I'm still "being considered". I'm on a strict "work to rule" from Monday and now seriously job hunting. We offer a 24 hour service and I "forgot" to switch the phone over tonight and left the company mobile at work. I'm being treated like a doormat, and I've been coming home tired and stressed. Its not worth it. My marriage and family are far more important. If anyone knows any powered access companies looking for Hire Desk/Managers please let me know

she has failed on the following: Steering column movement between the shaft and steeering wheel (this was an advise last year) Nearside front suspension component mounting area is excessively corroded Nearside rear trailing arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement (this was an advise last year) Offside rear trailing arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement (this was an advise last year) Offside lower body has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength with 30cm of the body mountings Front wheel brakes imbalanced (when I changed the hub I put new pads in, didn't do other side - new pads should sort this) Been quoted £50 for the welding, brake pads are on the desk in front of me. Void bushes are in the bedroom - can anyone lend me a void bush tool? Can anyone help with the universal steering joint thingy that goes between the steering column and the power steering rack?
