I had a mate whose wheel fell off not too long ago doing 70 down a dual carriageway!

It will need, paint almost all over, engine, suspension all round, tyres, loom, new interior and it still needs welding. I've accepted it as a total loss really as i need a car to get to work and back, i also have a fiesta as a project too.

Its in the road and i can't move it. The insurance company weren't open apparently so i can't claim yet. I'm really not sure who it was or why they'd do it. It was parked in an okay part of southampton on the road.

Yeah i am insured, hefty excess, but hopefully i can claim for the contents too, ie. all my tools for work, stereo etc. The claims people arent working today so i'll have to do it tomorrow. I can't see me getting much for it though. And yeah, it was my capri.

Some sick pikey b*****d set my car on fire last night. They poured petrol over the front and back and tyres and lit it. I really do not know why anyone would do something like this. I put so much time into that car just for it to be destroyed. Pictures to follow anyways.

Rust underneath the bumper, you can just see it, also the arches need doing on the back. I have a wing but i dont think it'll need it once i get stuck in. I've lowered it 60mm now and the wheels ride on the arches, so i'm going for some wider arches, but unsure what to opt for.

I got the fiesta about 18 Months ago now, blew the headgasket twice and decided it was time to get a new engine, 6 Months later, after using my donor MK2 auto as a runabout for a while (recently sold for rediculously large amounts of money complete) i bought a MK3 capri to drive for work etc. The fiesta's still sat on the drive waiting for me to cut the front off and weld a new one on, but heres some pics of how it was before i blew it up 2nd time. This is true about most of them being too far gone, but they look like they could have been saved with minimal effort, bar the mk2 capri! I also fear that if i take pictures, i'll be chased out of the yard with a breaker bar as they'll think i'm the police! I'm sure if i asked they'd sell me a few bits though.

Just been up a yard where my dad used to work....had a look around out the back and i counted. 3 Granny 2.8 ghia X's Probably 5 more grannys 1 MK2 Capri 2 MK3 Capri's All piled up with cars on top etc. Some of them looked really clean apart from obvious dents in the roof.

I'm looking for the ideal offset i should be running on my capper with 15", 7J rims. I'm currently using sierra 7spokes and the tyres are about a feather away from the struts.

£500 would be a max, but its a 1300 so will be nippier than most peoples 1100!
