Can any one recomend a rolling road in the south east that is capable of all the usual things like setting up webers and cam timing but would also be able to map an MBE for ignition? I have spoken to SPC in horsham and they seem like they know there stuff but wondered if anyone had any other recomendations?

just got my mk2 escort dash top back from Raj at Autoflock and im well happy! i only sent it last friday and it was ready to send back by wednesday. great service and communication was excellent, including emailing me these pics detailing every stage of the process. little crack needed reparing. compound applied and smoothed degreaser applied spotless after degrease laminate resin applied dash is flocked crap picture but this is as delivered to me nice even deep flocking

unfortunately even the longest one only just reaches a short distance out the back of the head when on no 1 plug.

i have fitted an xe into my mk2 escort and mounted the coil pack on the bulkhead as most people seem to do but have tried standard length plug leads, like from an astra gte, and they are too short . does anyone know of a vauxhall with longer leads that i can buy from a motor factors or will i have to go to SDB or some like that?

have you considered building a system? i bought a few universal bits from demon tweeks and i couldnt beleive how easy it was. excluding the silencer i think it was only about 50 or 60 pounds and thats in 2.5 inch.

i bought the cage second hand so not sure of its age. i think i will MOT it with harnesses and see if i get fed up with them on the road. interesting about being able to fit the early type belts, are they smaller?

i thought about bolting to the cage but not sure if thats MOT legal. gonna fit harnesses anyway as its a trackday car but wanted standard belts as well as its easier for the road.

i have fitted a bolt in cage into my mk2 escort and now it seems to be in the way of refitting the standard seatbelts at the bottom of the B post. has any one else had this trouble or know of an easy solution?

gonna be running 8x13 compomotives so hopefully that should give me enough room.

did they work well while you had them fitted? im just a bit dubious whether they gonna be up to some hard track use. im running 8x13 wheels and have been told i need there '260 kit' that will fit under these . if thats what you have i would be interested to give them a go.

has anyone used any of the caprisport brake kits? i am considering one for my track day mk2 escort as a cheaper alternative to wilwoods or hi spec but not heard anyone else mention them.
