Yep that is horrible, but the really sad thing is that somebody has put a hell of a lot of time and effort into that.If only they had taste they could have made it pretty special.
Not done much to the Fiesta since round 1 so come Saturday afternoon before leaving for the CF show i thought of ways to improve my times.
After i,d thought about it long enough and sank back a few kronenburgs i decided to change my carpet and paint the needles on my dash as they had faded some what
.
Only made it on the Sunday and could not believe how many cars and people were there,it was fantastic! Thanks to every one involved
Wish we could have made the whole weekend .The wife was going to run in the osfdc this weekend but nerves due to the amount of people got the better of her .
Great show
I have some classic car mags from the 70,s,in them they have lots of cars from the 30,s,40,s and 50,s.They also have ads for new cars like the alfa sud and vauxhall vivas.Who would have thought then that those modern cars would become classics?
IMO they have reached classic status, especially the early ones. Most had pinto power, type 9 boxes +independant rear suspension and are RWD.Not forgeting to mention some had v6,s and a certain YB lump
As mentioned the later ones (late 80,s early 90,s)are best left out for now
Would love to go tommorow but will have to wait until sunday .Was heading out on a job earlier and saw a red mk5 cortina estate and a green 100e with a black bonnet on the A11 heading that direction .wished i was heading that way aswell
