    bloody cats!

A good quality 12 bore with a couple of boxes of cartridges should do the trick.Might upset the cat owners a tad but hey thats life.
  2. I,m only 36 and gave up on bikes three years ago ! It was just too bloody dangerous. It seemed like i could,nt go for a ride without some numpty pulling out in front of me .The final straw came on my way to work one morning when i caught up with two transit minibuses full of imigrant workers ,i waited for a good bit of road indicated to overtake and started to pass,as i did so the rear of the two vans decided to overtake the front one hitting me and leaving me and the bike in a twisted heap at the bottom of a ditch, the tossers never even stopped!
  3. Have a nice day
  4. I,m doing it ,but i,m under strict instructions not to beat the wifes time as its a long walk home.
  5. Funny what a new manager and a couple of months can do 13 unbeaten(in the championship) C,MON you canaries!!
  6. Thats an eye opener, was,nt many years ago you could by a half decent anglia for less than that. How times change
  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  8. Mine took loads of thought,my names Dave Reeve and by cunningly removing the E and joining the words together i ended up with davreeve Pure genius.
  9. Great pictures there, would have loved to have gone along as weather was superb but was working unfortuanatly.
  10. Had yoko Ao32,s on an escort, superb in the dry and not too bad in the wet but as already mentioned they have a short lifespan due to being soft. Have yoko a539,s on the fiesta which i would describe as adequat but not that great although they have a much longer lifespan.
  11. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" Robert Duvall ,Apocalipse now 1970
  12. The ANDREWS HEAT FOR HIRE mk2 escorts driven by Russel Brookes in the late 70,s .Dont know why but i love the paint scheme(sorry no pics) Was going to do my mk2 in that scheme but crashed it before i got round to it.
  13. I live on the edge of an airfield and Hercules transports use it regulaly for training ,very noisy when they taxi past your house but i knew this when i moved in and love planes so not a problem. There have recently been around 500 houses built further down and what do i see in my local free paper. You,ve guest it cmplaints about aircraft and army noise from the new houses .
  14. I worked at a small local garage for a while recently and although the money was crap(hence i left)i can honestly say that no one was ever conned i.e charged for work or parts that were not needed. In fact if there was a more cost effective way of doing somthing the customer was always made aware of it .This must be a rare occurance in this day and age.
  15. One more post and you can add pics
  16. No ,i only used them for the front panel and a few small damaged areas as the wilco signal yellow ones were almost a perfect match. The rest of the car was done in 2K by me 3 years ago.Not show quality but tidy and cheaper than getting someone else to do it.For the touch ups i flatted the area with 1500 wet&dry used a thin coat of white primer then overlapped that with yellow and once properly dried used cutting compound and polish .
  17. NOOOooooooo!!!! The thought of that is too much.I feel ill now.
  18. Yeah, bonnet is satin black as it was ripley to start with then the wind blew it off just before christmas which did,nt help things and i ran out of yellow rattle cans but had some black .Not sure about it but it will stay like it for now. mk1 gaz wrote Nice one Gaz!If i fitted neons i believe i,d get lynched
  19. Seems to go well enough with no overheating or nasty noises.A bit flat under 3000 rpm as expected but over that its much quicker than before although i could not give it a proper test as wife and child were in the car +i have recently aquired 6 points on my licence and dont want anymore.
  20. Drove the fiesta today to visit inlaws ,first time on the road since engine and body mods(started in November),108 mile round trip and not one breakdown!.Things must be looking up And NO i have not got blue neons, its the camera flash.
  21. Not very,Its usually quite porous and you can expect rust specks to appear very quickly.
  22. PM sent
  23. Its a shame you,re to far away as i could have helped you with that one ! Idealy you need a dial gauge and a timing disc to get it spot on.Also its not practical to adjust during a rolling road session as the timing chain cover has to be removed unlike a pinto which can be easily adjusted.Surely someone closer must be able to help.
  24. A few years back i drove my escort to work one morning in only half inch or so of compacted snow with Ao32 yokos fitted as i couldn,t be arsed to change them.Clenched is a good word to describe the experiance
