  3. Cheers ,they sound pretty good ,careful in wet like A032,s. Should be taking the fiesta to the pod in october,never done it before but looking foward to it.
  4. Whatever tyres you buy you must bear in mind that they are your only contact with terra firma so buy the best you can afford.
  5. Ive Never used A048,s ,Whats the grip and life expectancy like.
  6. Being serious now yoko ao32r tyres are road legal and superb in the dry but wont last more than 1-2000 miles .539,s are a better bet for everyday use ,still grip well but last considerably longer.
  7. Nankangs or Federals smell the best but dont offer much in the way of grip
  8. Father had a new Fiesta1300s in signal yellow back in 1978. He only had it three months before he wrote it off in Denmark while working(drinking)over there .I was only 7 at the time but the car stuck with me so mines the same colour with the same stripes.Its a bit quicker though. 1978(sorry about photo quality)

  10. I must say firstly that this happened 11 years ago and not recently. I spent three months of evenings and weekends rebuilding a mk2 2dr for my mother .Once it was mot,d she picked it up at around lunchtime on a wednesday .She came out thursday morning to go to work to find it missing.It was found 2 days later burned out about thirty miles away. BUMMER.

  16. MK1 fiesta,Signal yellow 1300s stripes ,supersport wheels, xr2 arches and spoiler ,engine is a 1600 cvh with twin 40 dcnf,s attached to a 5spd box.A real parts bin special lol.

  18. No it was actually parked right near the entrance where you payed to get in(didnt think i was going so never booked in with seoc) .My wife did do a lame 0-60 run. I was a member of the seoc 2003-2004 and attended a few meets at the flying fortress pub at Bury st Edmonds as well as a few local shows(Bradenham,Breckland show on Watton airfield).It was also in Nov 2004 readers rides in classic ford in smashed up condition. I remember seeing the blue car ,shame it crashed as it was very nice.

Hi People i,m new here and was wondering if anybody can remember seeing and photographing a mk2 escort rally rep at ford fair 2004 or in the watton,norfolk area before that.It was a white arched mk2 with a red stripe with motorcraft ,castrol ,lombard rac graphics ,four cibie oscars .wheels were 7x13 superlites(polished rim with black centres).Reg no. was PON 14R. This was my car and in a moment of stupidity i crashed and killed it on August 20th 2004.It was a good looking car that unfortuanatly i have no pictures of to remind me of it. Cheers DAVE
