  1. Yeah.. but you gotta have something to compete against/ race... I'm fooking competitive (which is probably going to end up costing me lots of money if the 1/4 mile runs are as good as you all say they are )
  2. So if i'm going to have a go at this 1/4 mile lark... what time should I be aiming for?? Running- 1640 x/flow, twin 40s, 244cam, 4.4 lsd, road rubber, 4-speed rocket box... What should I be aiming at?? or what do other cars with similar setup run??? Cheers

  10. What was wrong with it in the end mate????
  11. Depends on what level you want to do it mate... I dont know alot about saloon car championship... but if you want to compete on stage rally such as Robin Hood Stages in the HRCR then ur looking at £500 entry fees, a couple of sets of tyres per event at about £80 a tyre, plus travel, hotels for the weekend etc The real cost comes to the damage to the car and the repair bills!! Although, as I said, it depends on what level you want to do it and how competitive you want to be. Road rallying is a far cheaper option.. with the emphisis more on navigation but with some quality off road sections.. entry is £60-£100 average.. and most go on through the night.... Alot less cost is car preperation as well. It all depends on how far you want to take it.. both are fooking expensive I imagine if you want to be competitive.
  12. The "Erectus Trouserius" or the trouser snake is the world's most dangerous snake. Colour varies from pink to black. It is fangless, average length between 5-6 inches (although some are said to reach 8 inches depending on honesty of it's owner) It appears usualy in bedrooms attacking women in the mouth or lower abdominal area, its highly venomous spit can cause swelling lasting 9 months! Some mutant species are also known to attack men from behind.

  23. With the price of petrol at an all time high... and the probability its only going to get more expensive with oil prices predicted to reach $200/ barrel... (current price is about $120/barrel) is it going to make owning classics unaffordable??? There are a number of people already struggling to run one daily car so surely if petrol becomes more expensive owning a second is even less viable??? Will this lead to a crash in prices on the classic car market?? Is it the logical choice to sell up now and get out whilst car prices are high??? Discuss
