I was born in 82,and my dad was allways picking up cheap or free car's and most of the time it would have been a Ford When i started doing driving lessons my dad got given a 1976 mini,i got the choice of that or my brothers mk2 escort (which had been sitting under a tree for afew years). I had allways wanted a mk3 cappa and at the time a mk2 escort was a close as i was gonna get...... i still got the same mk2 tucked away

Just what i said to myself afew months back,it's the only way forward I've allready shifted my bike, 2 mk2 escort's left to go then i can concentrate on one car. any EASY and i mean EASY mk2 project cars,,,,ie all the car and running gear there with minimal work to get thru an MOT Well,my four door needs afew small jobs bits doing for the mot and is complete with afew tasty mods to make it go and handle well.But would need a fair bit of body work to make it look tidy again. My 2door is near as dammit complete (afew bit's of trim missing) but need's stripping down to shell, some new panels letting in and rebuilding(quite a big project ) Your welcome to come and have a look coz your not that far away maybe even take it for a spin .Just depends how far you want to go with the body work on the 4door,could allways mot it for the summer and drive looking abit ropey.

Is there a quite corner i can sneak my mondeo in ....... ......Failling that i'll have to use my feet to get there,i've had them since the early 80's so kind of old skool
