Near where I live there is a mk2 escy 4 door Ghia. It has been on this guys drive for 5 years that I know of. It has a note in the window that says Not for sale, so I knocked on his door and asked, why? He just said that it was not for sale. I replied why dont you feckin burn it then cos its going to end up fecked either way!! He was not amused

I remember the old cruise back in the day (1975) every one was doing prat stupid stuff up and down the Kings road and all aong the embankment! Plod shut it all down and nicked all and sundry. I saw a guy doing wheelies on a monkey bike get done They banned cruisers from the Kings road and thats why it moved. Now we are stuck with the crap areas they have given us Boys will be boys with their toys and so will I but we have to bear the consequences. Before long they will ban it alltogether so be warned

I know what you mean Conor, my daily drive apart from the tranny is a DOHC mk3 Granada, still 16 years old but modern enough not to be a total pain in the a$%e

E marking on the tyres is not in the MOT. If your rears are below the limit you should replace them!! Just because the guy is a bit dim does not release you from your resposibility as a driver of a motor vehicle. Tuned modded car, RWD, bald rear tyres, sounds pretty silly to me

Yes any condensor fitted correctly will work when I was an AA man I only carried two types BL and Ford. Fitted them to everything

May have been done before but I would like to hear if you are new to old fords, or you have been around since they were"new" If you are new, what attracted you to old fords? If you are "older" what made you stick around these old rust buckets?

Thanks, yes I am going to restore it and then fit the spec lift body from my tired old mk3 I know it looks ok, but the chassis has had it I will weld it up when the body is off and the build a new body and spec for it.

Just to say, I was Orange whizz but as the capper has gone and I now have an Old skool transit (couldnt have my mk3) MK2 I am reincarnated as MK2 Muttley. Cheers m'dears
