  5. i originally run on 45's but was never really happy with them, got a set of FZR750 carbs on a bloggs manifold. runs great, starts on button with choke, ticks over evenly, revs well. webbers would cough under 2.5k-3k but then fly, bike carbs just went really well without being temperamental.

    Diff re-build

Got a chance to get play in the garage today. started to re-build the diff & had my first go at wire locking after finding all the bolts hand tight.
  11. spent a little time on the RS the weekend & get it running again. left her running for a while to warm through & thought i'd see how well it revved pick up was ok but seems to have a little blip at 3k??

  15. Hi guy's, OK, after an eternity I've eventually got my arse into the garage to look at my broken axle. I've only broken the half shaft but I've picket up a carpi axle to fit, the problem seems that the single piece prop that's fitted looks about 2" odd too long. i thought the prop fitted English & atlas axles. am i wrong? do i need a new prop or should my one fit Ta
  16. i got sent to the office for a long weight, took bloody hours...
  17. never got to finish it though
  18. who makes an RS one?
  19. i think there were three press cars off production line in Germany, there are a couple of different variations to the front spoiler fitting, blended, bolted. the rear has a std popular rear bumper all official kits are fiberglass made by license from fibersport with ford logo in molding. additional fibersport kits have different rear molding to keep the rs bumper & not allowed to incorporate the ford logo all official ford kits were an series X optional extra & dealer fit so varied from shop to shop feel free to correct me
  20. Cut & shut a skyline chassis to fit, not happy with the wheels.... shell took a little damage but repairable
  21. Had another play
  22. Had another play, sorry phone's crap camera hope to get some more done soon
  23. ok i've given up... found a 3.44 atlas with caliper mounts fitted, Polly bushed single leaf springs, 2x a frame kits fitted 2"blocks. gonna try to collect over the weekend and size it up, see how it fits with existing saddles and wheels??
  24. that's my opinion too, how long will uprated shafts last? I've heard that quaife have been compared to chocolate just not as tasty... also it was strange to find that i had absolutist no drive with one shaft gone and an ATB fitted. thought I'd at least get some sort of drag through the diff. (I'm aware that the ATB never locks but i just sat there on tick over with the prop going round) how much were the Trans X ones?
