i doubt you will get one as like vista says they are matched so if anyone looses one they normaly scrap the lot, and because of this i dont expect anyone will sell you a secondhand one

as this is the main base coat i want to use the best quality possible so i'd like to know what everyone recomends, good/bad experiences i want them all, oh and btw i'm painting the whole car

i'm getting to the stage where i can paint my project escort, the first thing i will do is strip all the paint off that i've put on it to prevent rusting, but its the next bit i'm not to sure on as everyone gives different advice, 1. is it best to etch prime then fill, or 2. fill then etch prime i know which i prefer but which will give me the best overall results

if it wasnt a 1000 mile round trip for me i'd happly pick the car up for you. you could always sell your body if you can go round all the local complanys you can and just ask them if they have any jobs you could do, companys are more likly to employ you if you actualy take the time to go and see them

yeah shame about the marina, looked a minter too. not to my taste but cant be many left now. I had a marina coupe i a few yrs back and a bloke drove about 300 miles to buy it off me when i sold it as he said they are lijke rocking horse now days i had a tc coupe for a bit aparently it was one of only 28 left, i ended up selling it due to not being able to get bits for it

i belive ford still do them, they supplied me with seals for a mk2 escort box and a type 9, but having said that some dealers wont even look for you as they cant be bothered as its not as simple as just looking on the computer
