you do need to take a test to tow a trailer over 750kg, the towing capacity of your bmw will be on the chassis plate if it dosnt say i belive the maximum towing weight is 3/4 of the curb weight of the car

looks good, i take it, its going to live on that engine stand and be just for show as no way will it stay that clean once its fitted

if it didnt look some quality workmanship had gone in to it i'd say 'pimp my ride' had struck again

somewhere on the injector pump there will be a stop solenoid this could have stuck in the closed position, if you remove it you should be able to take the rubber plunger off the end of it, if it starts once this has been removed the solenoid needs replacing, bear in mind tho if it does start you wont be able to stop it on the key so you will have to stall it

vauxhalls arnt as simple as ford where most engines share the same bellhousing patten and to make it more complicated even 2 of the same car could be differnt, theres not really much on the net to help you with such a swap or companys to supply parts so most things like engine mound exhaust etc would have to be bespoke, if you go down the bespoke route you could have any engine you like but its going to cost a fortune to do so i say stick with the same engine for now and try and do some reserch on engine swaps in victors to see what others have done and also to find out if the gearbox in your car was used in any other vauxhall as if you can keep with the original g/box the swap will be much easier
