  1. i bet that would have stung, i'm hopping that the cuts will heal up before next weekend so if anyone has any tips for faster healing i'm all ears well eyes
  2. Not sure about the new ish Transits but the old ones are 5 x 160 and not the 5x112 you´ve got. VW T25 and T4´s run the same PCD as a Granada...well mine did i think you may be right as on closer inspection i've found a mark that looks very similar to a vw badge
  3. i know this is wrong but if the bike is stolen the owners insurance will have paid out for it, you have bought it got a recipt with no idea of what happened why should you loose the bike and your money? you shouldnt i say if you cant sell the compleat bike break it and sell the bits
  4. nah i called her and she was very understanding so we agreed to go out next weekend tho she said she wouldnt of minded my injurys but i just didnt feel like going out

  7. i aquired (read found in a skip) 4 steel wheels with brand new tires on them at first it was only the tires i was interested in but when i got them home i tryed the wheels on my dads granada and they fitted how lucky but at this point i noticed that the tires are comercal ones now does anyone know what these would have been from to have the same stud pattern as a granny but need comercal tires
  8. thats what i was cutting out but from a granada just caught up and kicked back sadly my face got in the way luckly i dont think the disc caught me just the back of grinder with enough force to split my nose along the side
  9. no pics sorry to disapoint gore fans, scars maybe but what about the injurys that cause scars?
  10. got smacked in the face by a angle grinder earlier luckaly i was wearing safty googles or it could have been much worse but its still split my nose open and made my face swolen which is a real pain as i have/had a date tonight and am now not sure if i'm going to go as at the moment i look pretty horrible (awaits looks related comments)
  11. yeah this isnt a good time to be selling as you wont get what its really worth good time to be buying tho in the last 2 weeks i've been offered a 2 door mk2 escort running project for £1250 and a mk3 capri 2.8i needing a small amount of welding for £350 which i have bought
  12. does anyone drive a mondeo as i'd like a honest opinion as to what there like as i need a car thats cheap to run to go to work (i do 80 odd mile a day) i was looking at a 2lt tdci as the clamed mpg is good and at arround 4 years old there really cheap for what looks like a really nice car i was also looking at the x type jags as there not much more and are still a mondeo so they should be very similar to own and drive
  13. as everyone has said there not really a problem but if you dont want the sunroof changing a roof skin is really easy
  14. i'm sure i wont but i need to justify spending the money as i already have and mk1 escort on the road and another that i'm building, luckly space to keep it isnt a issue
  15. yeah its a bit much i do it in a land rover at the moment but i love my job would be nice to do it a capri, i like using my escort but i've spent so much time and money on it so i dont want to risk damage it where as this capri is cheap and only needs a small anount of work to get back on the road

  17. i've just been offered a 2.8i capri at a very good price i need to deside weather to buy it or not and it i do what to do with it, so i was woundering if anyone knew what kind of mpg i should get out of it if driven sensibley as i wouldnt mind using it for going to work

  23. i've got 2 5lt cans of vista orange in the shed so i'll look and and see if there is a code on them tomorrow
  24. the other option is to remove the brass fitting from the carb and thread the hole and screw in a blanking bung
  25. i repaired the tank on my land rover with fibreglass and have never had any problems with that and it had a hole about an inch across
