  1. Just a few jobs left and I'll finaly be driving my 2.8i this year I've just fitted my RGA spoiler, bumper, rear badge, and a few other small jobs. I hope we start having some sort of a summer now tho!! will have to come off the road for storage before we even have some sun!!!!

  5. I dont have a garage, whats the best way to protect my capri over the winter months? I need somthing that wont reck my new paint! I dont mind spending a couple of qwid if it helps preserve my car. Cheers

  8. cheers yeah the rear bumper is a little bent. Need to get a new one at some point.
  9. Have started putting my Capri back together after finishing the respray last week. It's really starting to come together now. The only thing that looks bad is the fiberglass bonnet, full of cracks and what not. I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys.

  11. I have put a rear disc conversion on my Capri and the new handbrake cable rests on the exhaust. What can I do about this? Is there any way of lifting them off with somthing and hanging them to the floor plan of the car?

  13. I have a rear disc conversion. Mine has pug 405 discs and sierra calipers, i got it off ebay second hand as a complete kit. It even came with the modded halft shafts. I also have a land rover M/C on a 2.0 servo.

  17. I#'ve resprayed my capri but now I have noticed some lows in the filler work I need to sort out. After I have sorted out these problems I wanna put a couple more coats of paint on. Do i need to key all the paint I have already done before I put some more coats on? I haven't wet sanded or buffed it yet! Thanks
  18. cheers , you cant see in the photos but the passinger door and wing are full of dents I couldn't see till it was sprayed it. I need to get it right. It wont' look perfect but I want it to be as good as I can get it

  20. I finaly got some paint on my 2.8i, but now I have a high gloss paint on it it has shown up a few bad spots in my prep worlk so will have to spend another week prepping and spaying it again! It would be so much easier paying somone to do it!!! Do you like my makeshift spay booth?

But they would still be parked in the public field even if the plastics wernt allowed in .. they chose not to be on a stand with one of the clubs, this is true but I have always felt there should be a section for osf to park together if the owners wish so we can see them. Not everyone is a member of a club.
  22. I've noticed this, every year there is less and less classic fords and more modern stuff!!! I always find it a shame cuz there are so many great classic fords in the car parking field that never get seen!
