One more question do i need a ticket for my 12 year old son

Hello i know this is late but can i possibly sort out a stand pass and entry ticket for the show was supposed to be on holiday when the show was on but that has gone tits up now so here we come(hopefully) cheers from roy

Now when i removed the antiroll bar i compared it with the old one from the car and found that the one i had fitted is longer than the one that was on the car originally so from your last post i can only assume that i have a standard antiroll bar fitted at the moment and the one i have hung up in the garage must be a twincam one as it will pull the wheels forward by another 20 mm ish looking at it

Ok i have finally got enough clearance on the front wheel now by shimming the antiroll bar bush on one side to pull the wheel backslightly now both wheels measure the same from front to rear Also had to modify the front wing at the bottom corner slightly with a tyre lever between the tyre and the wing to even the gaps up a bit i suppose i will be painting it under the wheelarch again this weekend

Got an anti dive kit fitted at the moment and my left hand wheel is at least 7 mm further forward according to my wheel to wheel measurements Fitting a standard roll bar now to comparethe difference

Does a twin cam anti roll bar help with the handling at all on a mark2 escort cos so far all i have found is bloody problems I have just fitted larger tyres to the front and rear of my car cos i like the rally look and the 185 60 13s are rubbing on the wing at the front (ripped my mex spoiler to bits) also found that the 175 50 13s fouled occasiona;lly DO i need to alter something or is this normal

Took my car into mikeanics today in congleton to be set up on the rolling road After 2 hours he managed to squeeze an extra 30 bhp out of it and it now goes like a train 154 BHP WITH 140 LBS OF TORQUE

My car did exactly the same thing if you throtle on hard it pulls one way and then when you back off the power it snaps back Horrible feeling Mine turned out to be nothing more sinister than the axle was moving because it wasnt tight enough in the ubolts so was twisting quite severely try tightening them up and take her out and give it hell

Got sevens on mine and it is lowered at the front and rear by 2 inches all i had to do was use 175 /50/13 tyres stretched onto the rims to make the tyres clear the arches could do with the arches rolling though cos it does catch slightly when i bottom out Or if runing standard ride height i woukd think you will have no problems Or have i got 6.5s on ????????? will check later

You would need to have it ceramic coated mate whuch would also make it run a lot cooler Camcoat in warrington do it and its not over the top prices

I think he was refering to the rubber pieces that go between the leaf spring and the block But it does need the bumpstops fitting back on really with it being 2 inches lower put a couple of people in the back and things could get interesting
