Yes sorry I did not no the ka come out in 96, But people don't have to look at the cars that are not there cup of tea??? I think a lot of the youth would love old skool fords however the price of them is to dear and we all have to start somewhere, I can see both points of view and I can see why classic ford are trying to open the doors up a bit. Maybe they should of not gone to 1996 and had pre 90 as a first step. I personally think a lot of people think if its not rwd its not old skool or a classic 1/4 of a mile would be fun surely??? P.s im not a fan of newer cars myself I do like pre 90s though and as we get older there will be what people say plastic bumper models becoming classic cars! -

Cars of the 90s MK3 fiesta MK5 Escort / Orion MK1 Mondeo Sierra Granada Yes they all have plastic bumpers but most of them now are owned by enthusiasts you don't see many of them on the roads anymore, The cosworth range were great cars! And things like the mk1 mondeo (although not my cup of tea) 2.0 zetec's are being used in rwd old skool fords, along with newer ford engines ( we like this idea don't we) I have no problem in seeing 80s and 90s fords, I don't like some of the tastes don't get me wrong but that's the same with any age car. I do think if it was laid out correct it could be a good show (old and up to 96) A lot of folk used to have mk1 escorts etc in their youth and now they are re-living their youth with their pride and joys Time goes on and we are all getting older, Surely it's history repeating itself maybe the classic scene we seem to be in is getting vintage! My youth was mk1 fiesta's and it will be the fiesta's 40th year of production next year! So there may be a great turn out at classic ford. I will add i think classic should however be 25 years and older. Controlled correctly i can't see a problem and if my local shopping car park was full of cossies and rs turbos etc id be happy to go and have a nose, Most of us were and still are boy racers aren't we. To sum up people don't like change and the next generation will be the same. Not trying to upset folk.... -

Hi all! Here we have a mk1 fiesta bravo 1.1 in a lovely 2 tone red and silver  It has covered 69,000 miles. Will be sold with 12 months mot. This car came up for sale about 6 months ago on the net local to my self, I went to view the car and was shocked of the condition! although not concouse it was a true well cared for fester, and near mint. I have had a good look around the car and there are no signs of welding, has original wings and panels, Rear axle and other components have been powder coated. Boot floor etc is mint! It does have a couple small car park dings as can be expected, The paint work looks great! Someone has cared very much for this car in the past and it has a lot of new gen ford parts fitted. please look at the pics and pm me for any info! If your looking for a great car solid! This may be the one for you! Pay the extra money and buy a good one like this one! Pics will follow! Cheers Dave.... £2595 ovno Somerset
