check through your old statements for the 4 dig code and find the section on paypal it has been so long since i done mine i cant remember much but if you check the FAQ's on the paypal site it should give you info on finding out how to link and varify

from memory (and its been a while) they credit 1p into your account and use a 4 digit number which acts as a pin to 'varify' your account. Keep checking your emails and try the FAQ on the paypal site. Failing that ring them. I think they are based in Dublin (maybe thats just where the fraud stuff is handled) and they should be able to help you out over the phone.
