I'm in Benton which is just near Jesmond. My mates were students and had a few houses there . The toffs are plain old Apple Pies but harmless, its actually really good night out there too. Personally I would look elsewhere, Gosforth for one, is just better all round. All you others from round here, where are you? I have only seen one lad in a blue mk2 escort. The other few were destined for the scrappy....mine included.

Passed mine in 2001, 3 months after my 17th (with a 1 month wait for my test ) Wasn't allowed to trailler a car, but mr piggy wiggy didn't cotton on when I had to drag my bruv's beetle in my orange mk2 at 18!! I hate this country. Emigration is on the cards as most of my family have done and its the best move they have made

Its a bit of a drive but the Jim Clark Rally is in May in Southern Scotland, Duns etc. Like Loriel is worth it! My mate and his dad have just entered their Honda Civic VT. Cant wait!!!

He might have some things going on, personally, I mean. What if something has happened. Do you think he ould have time or the energy to go on the computer and respond. People only reply to stuff if everything is OK. Give the guy a break. If you feel you are being fooked over ring him, if he doesnt answer then maybe go and see him. I have bought stuff of him last year and he was brilliant. Mossy on the other hand seems a reasonable person, if he's not answering your emails etc, then somehting is obviously up, he must make a few quid from this site so wouldn't jeapodise his statue here. My 2p

Have any of you guys used clear lacquer over the satin? Is it needed? I guess not but thought I'd ask. Would it give a better finish? I have a white car would it be more work? I fancy camo green or satin black! Christ I'm having a nervous breakdown tonight...

Ive had my mk2 escort (4 door) for 2 years now. It has become more rusty than when I first bought it, and has only not started once (being an auto you cant push start it either) Thing is, I had a Honda CRX before it and have just been out in my friends CTR (EP3) and have a hankering for another CRX. I know I'll change my mind before the morning but just wondered what the going rate for a 1300 xf 4 door mk2 escort is. It has : AVO adj rear suspension 2" drop decambered leaves Hi Spec 4 pot (economy) brakes Vented Grp1 discs + braided lines Plans were/are for a pinto and 5 speeder (as I have just acquired a garage too ) I also have 2" drop front 160lb springs) Just dont have the funds for front adj dampers....which makes for interesting understeer at the moment, even in the recent snow!!! Pics of when I first got it, like I said it is rustier now and I dont have the car here this weekedn as Im on call and have works van and I'm no where near my garage where it sleeps nowadays (can you tell Im chuffed Ive eventually got a garage yet !!???) And one of my old 1600 which went like stink : And one of CRX which some W@nkface crashed into: Heres the brakes I have : And last one I promise, is what I wanted my white mk2 to look like, sorry for stealing this pic whoever it belongs to : Ive had a look on the Bay and on here and Turbosport but cannot get a price for one similar to mine.

I broke my leg 14 years ago, and I can still feel it now, scares the fook out of me playing football. Saying that i did my arm when I was 6 and its fine, had a cast on for 4 weeks and a sling after that for 2. fell over ontot a curb playing footy. Not sure the best way of faking it, but my back is taking a bashing at work, lifting stupidly heavy things round obsticles, easier to fake a bad bake than actually go through with breaking an arm.

exactly what i was thinking mate... There are loads more in the road rally forum (some mk2 4 doors as well) Post- "Road Rally Pics From The Past" spent 3 hours on there this morning going through the old pics and eventually my finger gave up clicking i just thought id share the pcis with everyone else. Thanks for that !!! Seriously, I spent about 4 hours last night looking on youtube.com for vids, the best ones were obviously the irish rally sprints. Fudge me, they're some special drivers. Nice pics, wish I had taken my camera to the Roger Clark rally a few years ago, we had some great spots as marshalls. Ahhh good times.....

Ive got a Commencal Village (in black) one of the first ones out in 2000. I can't find a pic anywhere on the net (and its at my bruvs house, who has the special edition one in blue), not even the Commencal site. Damn fine bmx if anyone knows them. I might be selling as I'm gonna emigrate to Thailand, but not sure how much I should ask for it? Any ideas as I've been out of the scene for a few years now. Have Commencal stopped making BMX's?

, Just been out to have another look. It looks coool. Will try and get some pics up if I'm back from work early next week. BTW I had no help and a trolley jack that could only raise it to the lowest height on my axle stands! So my shouders are aching It should have been about 4 hours I reckon even in the horrendous conditions

Wooohoo. No pics, coz it was absolutely teaming down,I've only just warmed up!! Managed to fit my decambered leaves (-2") and my AVO dampers. Took a total of 6 hours (no WD40 left). Would have beena bit quicker if I didn't have a few dumbass moments - not having all the tools / not puttig the sandwich plate in between the leaves... Just thought I'd post as I feel very very chuffed with myself. Big thanks to Darren (escort-tec) for the leaves!!! Happy Dan

I got vented disks/calipers/green stuff pads/alloy hubs for £430. I sent the hubs back (£100) coz PLR fooked up and are a disappointment of a company ( i know alot of people on here have good things to say about them but I don't). So £330 for that setup. My brother has these Wilwoods for his Honda and paid £270 for just the calipers so I reckon its a great deal. But my Hi Specs are just soooo good looking.... Everyone don't forget braided lines(£25-30), they just help that little bit more.
-
Free Bump I have the Hi Spec alternatives and they are fricking great. The fit under 13"'s fine and I dont have a servo. The dont lock up, as Retro said just dont stamp on them, brake properly

One of these for you Mr Coggers . All sounds good and thankfully no one has suggested going to the Traf for a . You couldn't pay me to go in there
