i didnt have them fitted at the time as i dont have any seats so didnt know where to fit the bars then the paint said they are a real pain in a road car as you trip on them they get marked up has you always kicking them then like someine else has said,single skinned door not to save any pictures of door bars ? the guy charges £30 per bar

car go's to paint soon and my brother tells me he thinks i should have door bars added to the roll cage i wasnt as its a road car but now not sure should i shouldnt i????

i have been building my escort mk2 rs on the site and have email the mag about putting it my the mag,i have emailed 4/5 time and nothing do i take it my car is not worth going in to the mag,you have to many offers or no one replys to emails just thought i would ask after having two cars in performance bmw and bikes in 3 fast bike mags i have always had a reply. just wanted to know before asking other mags. many thanks paul

Ok guys duton ford in essex are holding a SUPERCAR day at the duton track this is the raise money for charity im going to be a part of this as i will be taking my car down there to put on show hear is a little info on the day and why SUPERCAR DAY DUNTON TRACK WILL ONCE AGIAN be the site for supercar thrills as little havens track day returns. To be held on the 6th of september from 10.30am to 4pm, attendees can hitch a hair-raising, two lap ride in a lamborghini or ferrari in exchange for a £20 donation to the charity. there will also be a car show, driving simulator, BBQ and other attraction. little havens children's hospice provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for youngster's living with serious conditions and who are not expected to reach adulthood. this could not continue without kind donation as it costs £2.3 million each year to keep the hospicer open. havens spokesman jason curtis said;"by attending this event for little haves,you will help us to add life to days when days cannot be added to life." i got group 4 hubs new then had one hole welded up then redrilled to 5 x 114.3 had i 10mm spacer made but it was to small the had to have a 50mm spacer made giving me a 10mm clearance on the wheel had the spacer made so it bolted to the hub and them the wheel bolted to the spacer rear is a 20mm so very very happy with it had paint out to day the plan 2009 focus ultimate green inside and out cutting the front grill out and replacing with mesh cutting out the number plate space and replacing with mesh then painting anything that was back on the o/e x-pack in a gunmetal grey to match the wheels not having inner lights as the holes will be used as vents 4 x cibies will be green on the rear and gunmetal on the lamp suround once painted carbon boot spoiler carbon rear bumper carbon dash top carbon parcel shelf and firewall carbon door cards and we had a little play and going for two 3" pipes out the back one ever side. the car is going to paint on the 19th so once its back i will be posting pictures

thanks guys means a lot as my 1st escort build. goin the rs ultimate green and any bits that should be back will go the same grey colour as the wheels to tie it all in cibies will be green rears and grey surrounds next this exhaust ? rear or side exit

i removed the bonnet put in the back of my mondeo i was going to have it sent tough parcelforce but it would cost more to send it and then have it sent back i cost me about £20 in fuel and i was there for 3hours like i said very happy

looking to put cosworth rs500 engne in the car slowly getting there bit of a pain as i have one day off a week so dont get to spend as much time as i want on it but happy with wheir it is at now

got this on the 17th april 2009 and now almost ready for repaint in the new focus rs ultimate green. not bad for 1 months work and my 1st build i have replaced everything new for old just waitting for the compression kit,boxs gussets,grp4 steering rack clamp and the rs500 alloy intercooler to turn up. hope you like
