  9. alloy rads on the bay. got bigger 1 for my mk3 tina bob cossie £89. works very well, just be carefull, very fragile compared to older rads. dent easy!!!

  16. on ebay, £69 brand new. not worth messing with 2nd hand for that! cant remember ebay shop. put search in for cortina rad. change it too angle outlet and use normal hoses. got some somewhere if you stuck.

Can you write down all info for the pats, some of us would really appreciate it no doubt too much to write down really, but basically there are 3 perm lives, ecu, pats led light, auto box. there are 3 ign lives, ecu, pats module, fuel pump. i found it easier to fit battery side fusebox from ultima as this has all the ign lives for the engine working off the fuel pump relay with one connection to battery. then there are several earth connections as the system uses switched earths as well. sounds awkward but all i had was a multi meter and then study wiring. worked for me

  20. hi boys, just to share with ya. just fitted cossie bob and auto box into my mk3 cortina. few people said go boa as its easier but i had bob sitting on drive in a ultima est. pats wiring is biggest ball ache but when you study it, it aint too bad. everything is tight and i will ave to tweek exhaust but she fired up today 1st turn of key!! my trousers were twitching!! looks awesome sitting between the wings

  22. thanks chaps, will be fitting complete engine & auto box. think i can cope with normal wiring problems, its just the pats stuff i gotta get me head round! also, whats the score with cats and sensors?????? do i need to keep them or bin em? no problem to keep em if i ave to. cheers
  23. hi, just about to start 24v bob into mk3 cortina which is currently running 12v 2.9. got 97 donor. all this probably been asked b4, but anything i need to watch out for b4 i start in a few weeks? any advice more than welcome
  24. hi guys, 1st time virgin on here. please be gentle with me! live in st austell cornwall and drive mk3 cortina gxl running 2.9 12v. just got 24v bob cossie to upgrade. do everything meself so hopefully u guys will be invaluable. bye for now
