Makes you wonder how much money these people actually have in the bank if they can waste 65 million on a chunk of metal. I still maintain people with money have no tatse.

What car or cars do you hate the most? I have 2. Renault Laguna newer shape. (01 onwards i believe). Most unreliable car i have ever had the displeasure to own. I dont like French cars much but the Laguna has to be the cruddiest built car ever. Everything goes wrong especially in the diesels. YUCK!!!! I dont know of one that has everyrthing working as it should. Those key cards are the worlds most stupid idea too. 2nd is the BMW 3 series. Whenever i see one of those i get really wound up and i want to jump up and down on it and spit all over it. They actually offend me big time.

Whats the ugliest car in your opinion? I dont mean modded Halfords encrusted chav machines etc, but bog standard production cars. Lets say from 1970 onwards....opinions please

I always liked the quirky citroens (DS CX etc) and i have to admit the DS3 is a striking little car. I wouldnt say no

That looks great, two tones on old cars looks cool as hell in my opinion. The steels look better than the alloys too. Very good colour combination, almost identical to my old Husky

Thats why my valeting business wasnt making much. I never cut any corners and made sure the cars went out only when i was 100% happy. I had loads of custom but i couldnt make enough money. Ended up subbing myself out to do removals during the day and ran my valeting at night. God was i tired.... Good on you though mate, not many people are like that these days.

My missus and i were in a car park in Felixstowe, we'd just done a bit of shopping and had a walk along the prom. (she thought it was romantic, truth is i was looking for fishing marks hahaha) Anyway, as we were walking back to our car there was this old gal in a brand new mini cooper s with the union jack on the roof. really smart looking car but this old dear was having a hell of a time getting out of her space which, frankly, you could have got a bus through. Of course the missus and i giggled and passed comments to each other of how an old coffin dodger shouldnt have bought it etc (she must have been 90 if she was a day). When she finally got out of her space, she headed for the exit and she had to drive past us. Which she did....with her middle finger in the air. HAHAHAHA. I just cracked up on the spot at the sight of this frail old gal flipping the bird

(I posted this on BSC but this is for the non bsc members) Faulty new parts...we just wont have it!!!!!!! Ill keep the story as short as possible. Some of you may already know that on a saturday i help a mate with his Zodiac at his lockup. The past few weeks have been hell. Weve replaced the head gasket only to have major water leaks from a previous owners bodge on a connector pipe. We fix that to have the car run like poop. Then the water leaks again, its been a cow. Weve had head on, head off. Head on, head off. We can remove the head off a Zody with our eyes shut in 15 seconds flat. Anyway....once we finally fixed the leak we reassembled and started it up. It ran ok for a few seconds then died. Checked for sparks...fine. So we stripped the carb. It was caked with ghunk and gum inside so we stripped it and cleaned it all out. Carb clean and replaced, we started and held our breath. It started...ran really well then died again. We cheked again for a spark....fine, so we removed the fuel line and turned the key. It was pumping fine but there were some tiny "debris" in the petrol. We changed the fuel filter which was new last week in case it was faulty, cleaned the carb out again, reassembled and just for peace of mind we repalced the fuel lines. Wouldnt start...FFS!!!! we were really getting pi55ed off by now. After much faffing about and general moaning we checked once more for a spark....nothing!!! WTF???? We replaced the points...no spark. Dizzy cap next....nothing. Rotor arm....nothing. So we replaced the condenser that was bought only a week ago....SPARKS!!! Cleaned fuel off plugs, reassembled everything....ran like a peach. After all the hassle we decided to torture the offending item. First I blindfolded it and hung it Then hung heavy weights from it I thought a grinder would be painful Smashed its face in with a hammer Electrocuted it And finally for this week we tarred and feathered it New parts that dont work will not be tolerated. DONT MESS WIV DA BIG BOYZ

Pretty much anything really. Had so many classics / retro's that I couldnt really pick a favourite.

I was wiggling the wing away from the car when the thoughts were going through my head. "oh my god...i bet ive opened myself up a whole heap of work". suprised with what i found. Two small repair patches done a fair time ago otherwise seems perfect. If the other side is the same i'll photoshop some rust on it for ya
